However you can also purchase items directly from the manufacturer. The benefits of this are twofold. Firstly, shipping is free on all orders of over 50 points (equal to about £40). Secondly, the manufacturer offers a loyalty scheme whereby you pay full price for your first order and then become a preferred customer who is entitled to a permanent 10% discount. The loyalty scheme operates by points, and when you make purchases, you accrue points. When you reach 150 points, your next order is subject to a 20% discount after which the points revert to zero and the discount to 10%.
