 Orders

Confirmation of your order is sent automatically sent by e-mail after you have completed your purchase. This acknowledgement e-mail does not form an acceptance of your order and we reserve the right to cancel your order without liability until goods are dispatched, at which time this forms a contract between you as the customer and us as the vendor. You can amend your order at any point until the final payment page, so please ensure you check your order and address details prior to completion.

Stock availability of certain goods is not guaranteed or displayed on our website. In the event that you purchase goods not in stock, we will inform you of the delay. You have the right to cancel your order in exchange for a full refund if you do not wish to wait.

 Prices

We reserve the right to adjust prices, special offers and specification of products prior to your order at any time on our website, for reasons including and not limited to a general price increase by the manufacturer. We also reserve the right to withdraw any products or special offers at any time prior to your order. In the very rare event that an error has been made in pricing or regarding a special offer, we reserve the right to contact you to ask if you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order, in accordance with Trading Standards guidelines.

 Payment

We accept most major credit and debit cards, in addition to PayPal. Payment will be debited from your card at the time of purchase. Orders will only be processed upon successful completion of security and validation measures by the card issuer. We are not held responsible for non-receipt of goods where payment has not been completed successfully.

Delivery costs are set out on our shipping page.

We cannot be held responsible for orders not delivered if incorrect address information was supplied at checkout, so please check your delivery details carefully.

We aim to deliver products within the timeframe specified on our shipping page. Delivery can occasionally be subject to delays outside of our control and we cannot be held responsible for such delays.

 Returns and Cancellation of Orders

 Legal compliance

Our refunds and returns policy complies with the EU Distance Selling Directive (October 2000) and the UK’s Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, which covers all UK transactions where the vendor is not present with the customer at the time of sale and does not include business contracts.

 Your rights as a consumer

In accordance with the UK law, you are entitled to a 7 day 'cooling off period' in which you have the right to cancel your order without reason and receive a full refund, less delivery costs incurred by ourselves. The law obliges us to refund your payment within 30 days of your cancellation, subject to the return of goods in an unused, unopened and re-saleable condition.

How to cancel within the 7 day cooling off period

Should you wish to cancel your purchase within the 7 days 'cooling off period’, please contact us or write to us at the following address:

Please include the order number or your name and address. Unwanted goods must be returned to us within 14 days of delivery to the above address, again including your order number or name and address. Please re-use the original packaging where possible and take care to insure your goods during transit by obtaining a proof of posting receipt from the Royal Mail, or by using an insured courier.

We cannot accept liability for goods lost during transit. Please keep the proof of posting receipt in the event that the parcel is lost in transit, as you will need this to make a claim with the company you used to return the goods. Postage costs are to be paid by the sender.

In addition, Miessence offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on its entire product range including cosmetics. If you are unsatisfied with any Miessence product, please contact us within 30 days and we will report the issue to Miessence and obtain a refund on your behalf and then refund you accordingly.

Refunds of returned cosmetic products will be issued after thorough inspection of goods to ensure that they are suitable for re-sale.

 Refunds

Orders which were subject to free shipping will be refunded less a nominal shipping charge if the return brings the order below the required minimum amount for free shipping. Refunds will be initiated directly to your credit or debit card within 7 days of your cancellation. No charge will be applied for your cancellation within the 7-day cooling period, providing goods are returned in unopened, unused and in a re-saleable condition.
