Bergamot is a fresh, slightly floral orange and lemon blended scent that is sweet and warm but sharp and citrusy. Bergamot has wide uses in countering infections and skin complaints such as psoriasis, eczema and acne, as well as fighting viruses such as shingles, chicken pox, herpes and 'flu. It also has antibiotic properties, treating bacterial infections of the mouth, throat and urinary system. For external use, dilute in a salve or massage oil and apply to afflicted area.
